In my 11th grade, we had the subject ICT- Information, Communucation and Technology in the second sem that focuses on the advantages, disadvantages and how to use ICT effectively. I thought this subject would be very easy for me for I have already tried typing on the Microsoft words, making some powerpoints on the Microsoft Powerpoint. But I never know theres so many things I should know and explore, lucky having this subject and introduced new good things.

Social media seems very friendly to me, all i think is it gives me so much help, its easy to access, available anytime and anywhere but i didnt think on the opposite side of it- the disadvantages. This subject together with our teacher introduces us the disadvantages, on how unsecure it isbecause you’re open to anyone, your accounts can be seen by anybody plus you’re not owning the software, you’re just renting. ICT is dangerous. Crimes such us bullying is present. Most of the people rely to much on social media. Besides all these disadvantages, we are still needing the ICT. There are some things we should do for us to keep safe despite of the disadvantages.

4. Click Smart.
5. Be a Selective Sharer.
6. Protect Your Mobile Life.
7. Practice Safe Surfing & Shopping.
8. Keep up to date.
9. Lookout for the latest scams.
10. Keep your guard up.
